With the support of the European Union, two CSOs from the city of Fier, ENGIM and Murialdo, transformed a dark and dusty basement, into a welcoming pastry shop, KE BUONO, serving delicious sweet treats.
KE BUONO stands up against organised crime by taking confiscated assets and putting them to social use for women that have been victims or are at risk of domestic violence. Last Friday marked the end of the European Union financing to the KE BUONO pastry shop and now they are ready to walk on their feet, but this is not the end of our support!
Thanks to KE BUONO’s success, very soon two other projects will be supported by the EU through our CAUSE project implemented by Partners Albania: “KinFolk Coffee Library” in Durrës and “Social Crafting Garage Saranda” in the city of Saranda.
