The Chief Administrator of the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK), Ms. Risena Xhaja, together with representatives of the agency, hosted in a meeting Ms. Linda Bushati, Specialist for Education and Youth, and Ms. Anisa Metalla, Specialist for Child Protection from UNICEF Albania.

At the center of the discussions was the possibility of inter-institutional cooperation for projects focusing on education and the protection of vulnerable groups, emphasizing the importance of increasing funding and support for children, as well as the involvement of as many actors as possible in the implementation of successful programs and initiatives, also within the framework of Albania’s European integration process.

Also discussed was the commitment of AAPSK to place confiscated properties in the community’s function, turning them into spaces with a social, educational and supportive function for groups in need. These initiatives aim to create new opportunities for the integration and development of children and young people, guaranteeing wider access to quality services and a safe environment for them.

AAPSK will continue its cooperation with local and international organizations, aiming to implement various projects and initiatives of a social nature, based on European experiences and best practices in this field.
