The Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) has recorded a significant increase in rental income in the first half of 2025, reflecting a further improvement in the active management of assets under administration.
During the period January-June 2025, rental income reached a total value of around 100.4 million lekë, while in the same period of 2024, this figure was 58.4 million lekë. This translates into an increase of 71.7% compared to the previous year.
The data shows a steady growth trend throughout the period January–June 2025. In all six months analyzed, this year’s revenues have been significantly higher than in the same months of 2024.
March 2025 marked the highest monthly growth, with revenues 153% higher compared to March 2024 (from 7.7 million to 19.5 million lek). January, February and June have also shown significant growth with an average of 80% more.
This performance indicates a more effective management of state assets under the administration of the AAPSK, with a direct impact on public revenues, as well as the use of these revenues to increase the capacities of law enforcement agencies, as well as in the function of empowering communities.
